Which one should you pick?
You use Clipy and want search or OCR
Tameo is worth a look. It keeps Clipy’s feel — the ⌘⇧V palette, number-key paste, and snippet import — while adding full-text history search and OCR search inside images (neither is in Clipy 1.3.0 yet).

Tameo fits. Beyond having no servers, accounts, or analytics, it bundles no third-party SDKs (no Firebase), and being open source (MIT) you can verify in code that nothing is sent. Clipy 1.3.0 bundles Firebase, and Paste / Raycast(Pro) assume cloud sync — better choices if you want cross-device sync.
You want a launcher or a polished paid tool
Raycast or Paste fit — extra features beyond the clipboard, cross-device sync, and refined UI. The trade-offs are that they’re paid, cloud-oriented, and closed source.
